All Republicans Are Gay

Ken Mehlman, President Bush’s campaign manager in 2004 and a former chairman of the Republican National Committee, has told family and associates that he is gay.

I can’t get over this guy.  Bush 2004 was the most anti-gay presidential campaign ever.  They got anti-gay initiatives on the ballot in like half the states just to make sure they got right-wingers to the polls so they could register their hate.  How hard do you have to lie to yourself, as a gay man, to help run a campaign like that?  And how can you defend Bush as “no homophobe” while he’s running that campaign?  If he doesn’t hate gays and he didn’t have a problem trampling them on his way to re-election, I think that’s even worse.  Republicans are such horrible motherfuckers.

And get a load of this quote:

He often wondered why gay voters never formed common cause with Republican opponents of Islamic jihad, which he called “the greatest anti-gay force in the world right now.”

Ho-lee shit.  He actually thought gay people in America would entirely ignore the monstrous persecution being visited on them at home by Republicans RIGHT NOW, and instead share their hate for an entire religion that’s basically only relevant on the other side of the planet?  Like somehow Muslim countries that persecute their gays 10,000 miles away are more of a threat to gay Americans’ freedom than the Republican shitheads doing the same goddamn thing right here in America.  Exactly how far is this guy’s head up his own ass?

  1. Carolyn says:

According to Ahmadinejad, there are no gay people in Iran. So, your point is invalid.

How sad is Mehlman? He won’t be accepted by Republicans because he’s gay and he won’t be accepted by gays because he was a huge part of ruining their lives. Eh, fuck this guy.
