Via Balloon Juice, witness this infuriating graph:
Over the last 30 years, the incomes of the middle 60% and bottom 20% have remained completely flat, while the incomes of the top 1% have skyrocketed. And as you can see on the first graph in the Balloon Juice piece, in spite of the AMAZING ECONOMY STIMULATING POWERS OF TAX CUTS, job growth in the last decade was exactly jack shit. Zero percent. Nothing. While the rich are partying on their yachts and in their tacky McMansions, and their tax rates are falling much faster than those of everyone else, regular people have barely been able to keep up with inflation–if they have a job at all. Fuck me.
